How to Install WooCommerce on a WordPress Site

Step 1: Log in to Your WordPress Dashboard

  • Open your web browser and log in to your WordPress admin area.
  • Usually, you can access it by visiting yourwebsite.com/wp-admin.

Step 2: Go to the Plugins Section

  • From the WordPress dashboard, look at the menu on the left side.
  • Click on Plugins > Add New.

Step 3: Search for WooCommerce

  • In the search bar at the top right, type WooCommerce.
  • The WooCommerce plugin will appear in the search results, usually as the first option.

Step 4: Install the Plugin

  • Click the Install Now button next to the WooCommerce plugin.
  • Wait a few moments for WordPress to download and install the plugin.

Step 5: Activate WooCommerce

  • After installation, the Install Now button will change to Activate. Click on it.
